Kankakee River State Park Map
This is the Surficial Geologic Map of Kankakee River State Park. It is the final part of 5 years of research and hard work by numerous contributors. The actual map is 44" x 34". The clips shown represent about 40% of the map. The map report that accompanies this map has not been completed yet and will include cross sections. It is expected to be completed by November 2008. The map is available as a paper copy for $6.50. An electronic copy is available for $1.00. Half of the money received goes to the Department of Geology at Illinois State University.
